The Alberta Indigenous Council is working with Corb Lund and his group to gather signatures for the Water not Coal Petition.
The current Government ended the ban on coal mining in the Rockies, and Albertans have been vocally opposed to this. Coal mining in the Rockies threatens our water, our land, our air and our future.
The Alberta Indigenous Council is encouraging all CUPE members to sign the petition and to sign up to collect signatures.
